Yeeeeessssss!!

We have keys!
We have been there since lunchtime scrubbing. The house was left in a horrid state. The toilet was thick with, erm, poo, and dried urine, yuk!! The carpet people came to pull up the carpets in readiness for the woodworm treatment tomorrow, and ended up throwing the whole lot out. The bloke said that it was one of the worst jobs he has ever done. The carpets were wet through with "something" we are not quite sure of, and the chap said he would refuse to put them back down as previously agreed as they were that bad. Gross!

The house smells old and musty, although the woman only left it at lunchtime today! The garden is littered with rubbish, and there is generally filth and dirt everywhere you look. I know my house wouldn't win any awards for cleanliness, but even I would be absolutely ashamed to show people I lived that way. Obviously some aren't bothered.

Still, we have a house!! What a relief it is to be able to say that.

I won't be around much, if at all, over the next few weeks.
