Yesterday we went to Plymouth Aquarium courtesy of our Tesco vouchers. We had a really lovely time, and a lot has changed since our last visit. They have new exhibits and a great "experiment" level.
The children thoroughly enjoyed it, especially dear Callum. He constantly told us to "look" and tried to stroke the fish as they swam past him.
For the first time we actually took time out to walk around the Barbican and Plymouth Hoe. We were very fortunate with the weather. It had rained all the time whilst we were in the car, but stopped when we were out walking, starting again when we were on our way home again. Very lucky. The dark clouds didn't lift for us though, as you can see on the photos.
With so much history I couldn't help but to be inspired, and have come home brimming with ideas for our studies with future visits planned.
