A Light To Stand On

Hello Everyone!

How is your weekend going? Today is finally

a beautiful and sunny day here in NC. Yay!

We are expecting more of the same all week.

I had been searching for a desk lamp for the

home office and could not find anything I liked.

The room has one window and get's minimal light.

I decided to add a new table to hold a larger lamp.

Check it out!

The lamp and accent table are fom Marshalls.

Now a warm glow is achieved in this tiny room.

A large red vase and sticks are from Target.
I added a magnifying glass and book from Marshalls.
A photo and succulent plant surround the lamp.
The plants are from Michaels.
My hubs initial *A* sits on top of the books.
An ornate drawer finial is up top. I adore all finials.
The wall desk unit is from Ashley Furniture.
Our crowntail betta fish *Newton*.
A delicious smelling sandalwood candle is nice.
The freshwater fish aquarium.
The walls are a khaki color called *Shortbread*.
The bookcase is from Lowes.
The lamp is Kirklands and the drapes Target.
Another chunky finial. I find them everywhere.
Chestnut is guarding his lair.
You can see how the room needed more light.
I just love having this new lamp and table.
The area rug is new and came from Marshalls.
Kristen made the *M* frame. It matches well.
