Anthropologie to debut Decorator Shop inside stores

Well this is just about the best news ever. You don't have to look far on this blog to see my love of Anthropologie. Now things have just gotten a whole lot better. This just in - Anthropologie will be launching workshop-style decorator shops inside 11 US stores.

What will you find inside this little slice of heaven? Curtains, furniture, hardware, lighting, rugs and wallpaper to start! And they're taking it one step further and offering all the little pretties we covet when making design decisions - wallpaper, rugs and fabric swatches, product tear sheets and even, the brand promises "support decision making". Decorating books and magazines (including the new quarterly Anthology) will round out the inspirational offerings.

In addition to aggregating all the great Anthro decor products in one location the Decorator Shop will host regular workshops with design experts. Here are the lucky cities getting a Decorator Shop scheduled to open March 24th!

For those of you not in a city being bestowed with a Decorator Shop (like me...boo!), Anthropologie will be adding a new offering on their website to placate us all. “For the Decorator” will offer upholstery fabric and wallpaper swatches and is expected launch date March 17.
