On the next episode of Hardware Hoarders...

If A&E ever expands its Hoarders franchise to include people who hoard home decor items, yours truly will be starring in the debut episode.

Case in point - I buy furniture hardware without having furniture for it. I just can't pass up a good deal! And I know someday in the future when that perfect chest of drawers comes into my life, I will have the right knobs/hook/handles for it. Realistically, I will probably always be 1 handle/knob shy of the number I need when this perfect piece does materialize but I try not to dwell on this minutiae.



I don't dare show you my whole stash (how embarrassing!) but here is my Anthro basket.

I can't even tell you how much I looooove these handles. They are a chunky glass, almost cartoon-like in scale, surrounded by a pretty brass with just the perfect amount of patina. At my local store, they were using them mounted vertically like this on the cabinets where they place hold items. I think I might like them even more this way!

Best of all they are on sale ($7.95 down from $24.95) but they only appear to have the minty green glass online. Check your local store for the clear glass! The newer version of this handle has cut glass which is a little more ritzy.

I love these hooks and had my eye on them for a while. They aren't on sale online but for some reason, my store had 4 of them in the clearance bin. It might have been an accident but they honored it and I got them for $7.95 a piece! They remind me of Paris and I'm crazy about them. Maybe I'll use them in my dressing room...

They have some other great knobs on sale right now like these which I used on my dining room buffet.

Ok so I can't be the only one with this problem. What decor items are you hoarding? Pillows? Chairs? Fabric? (I'm guilty of this one too...whoops).
