Solar Storm

A few months ago Vanessa and her husband moved from Montreal to the Great North to work in a remote native village called Chisasibi. She says that each day living there is an adventure and to be fair, those photographs certainly prove her point! This past Tuesday Vanessa managed to capture the incredible solar storm that passed through their little village. How amazing is that? She described it as "one of the craziest light shows you could ever imagine".  It was triggered by a combination of a huge blast of solar wind that hit the earth, causing the incredible swirling auroras that are captured on those photos. Nature never seizes to amaze me! xo
