Let's all make some art!

Do you ever have that moment when looking at a great piece of abstract art when you think to yourself "hmmm...maybe I could do that."  As someone who loves to DIY stuff and get my hands dirty, I have that moment a lot.  But then I go home and things like laundry and what do for dinner get in the way and well...you know how that goes.

I've been really inspired lately by abstract black and white art.  I love the big statement it makes and the modern flair it adds any space.  I have completely convinced myself (am I delusional?) that I can DIY a passable substitute rather than shell out big bucks for one.

These aren't black and white but I love the composition of them.  I feel like they'd be amazing on a BIG canvas in a little girl's room.

I think I'm going to try something in this general look...must decide between circles and zig-zags.
