Behind the Scenes Pottery Barn Christmas

I love when I open my mailbox to find the newest Pottery Barn holiday catalog! Though I rarely buy anything from it, thumbing through the pages always gets me in the holiday spirit and fills me with inspiration for how to decorate my own home (on the cheap).


One of my favorite images from this year's catalog is this gorgeously decorated entryway. The lush garlands, that welcoming gate just slightly askew and those evergreens that seem to have been kissed by just the perfect amount of snow. Sigh...don't just want to ring the bell and hope they invite you in for hot chocolate?

As someone who is so inspired by the beautifully styled images in their catalog, I got a real kick out of this behind the scenes video that provides a sneak peak at what it really takes to make this picture perfect shot.
