I loved how simple and transformative this idea was from Fresh Home Magazine's current Winter issue. They took at 3 drawer IKEA Hemnes dresser and used some nail heads to give it a whole new, custom look (in a pinch I bet you could even do this with silver thumb tacks).
The steps couldn't be simpler. Use a big font size and some varied fonts to type out whatever words you want to use. Print your words, tape them onto drawer faces and start hammering away (right over the paper). Peel away the paper when you're done to reveal your stylish new dresser.
This could be really fun in a kid's room don't you think? I'd label my drawers with things like pajamas, t-shirts, etc. Great for facilitating independent dressing and maybe a little help putting laundry away too :) Bonus: The flat surface of the Hemnes is ideal for a quick paint job (check out this one!) if you really want to go the extra mile and create a truly unique piece.

Embellishing with nailheads
{sorry for the terrible pic! I couldn't find this image anywhere online so had to rely on the trusty iPhone}
