Last night I did my first ever spin class. The entire time, I keep thinking I was here:
Oh how I love The Office.
How was the first class?
Not so bad on my legs, but man oh man did that saddle hurt. How do people do this a few times a week? It was fun to try something completely different, but I don't intend to make this a weekly thing. Unless I can find a better way to sit on the saddle. Otherwise, it didn't feel like that great of a workout. I had the tension cranked up to try and make it harder, but I would have liked some more variety in my workout.
For quite awhile a spin class has been on my list of fitness classes to try. At the end of last year I jotted down a quick list of different types of workouts I would like to try to get som variety in my workouts. Here is how I've been doing so far for 2011:
Hot Pilates- BodyFlow
- Zumba
- Muy Thai Boxing
- BodyJam
Spin Class- BodyCombat
- CrossFit
2 out of 8 in the first month of the New Year ain't bad! I'm hoping to tackle a few more over the winter and see what I like!
Have you tried any new exercise classes? any recommendations for ones that I can add to my list?
