Have you checked out the newest e-glossy on the scene? High Gloss Magazine launched their inaugural issue today.

I was really excited to see the feature on local Raleigh girl made good Jamie Meares of Furbish Studio and popular blog isuwannee. There's a great spread on her home which, let's be real, is what we all want to see!

Normally I'm not a fan, but in this small space, I'm digging the small touch of Scalamandre's zebra wallpaper.

Remember it from The Royal Tenenbaums circa 2001?


I spy one of my fave Swahili Imports baskets over there by the window. And you already know how I feel about poufs. Fab factor increased considerably when done in metallic gold.

Nate Berkus' line for HSN offers one at a really great price.


So I love this photos (especially the dental moulding!) but am I the only one that feels like the driftwood piece may be a wee bit perilous to comfortable peeing? Maybe it's actually not as close to the toilet as it appears in this photo.

See that polka dot lumbar pillow on the sea grass chair? I owned for about 24 hours 3 weeks ago. It was on sale at Anthro (still is, here). I returned it but now I want it again. I have pillow schizophrenia. The reverse side is actually this really different hot pink/ikat embroidery.



Random, but I just picked up a large barnacle like she has on her coffee table . $12.99 on eBay from this seller. I'll report back on quality!


What do you think of the new High Gloss? I wish they were linking to more sources like Lonny does. Personally that's my favorite thing about these e-magazines.
