I took a stroll through one of my favorite places to look for interiors inspiration yesterday - Market Imports in Raleigh. If you're a local and have never been, you MUST check it out the next time you're visiting the Farmer's Market (which should be all the time because the Farmer's Market is amazing). And if you're not a local, it's up there on my list of places worth going to when you're visiting Raleigh (along with the flea market, Goodberry's and Char-Grill). It's a very interesting mix of vintage finds, architectural salvage + home and garden accessories. I love the way they arrange the merchandise into room-like vignettes. The space is enormous so make sure you check out every corner and don't forget to hit the outside areas!
In general I think the prices are inflated but it's a great place to look for inspiration. Here's some of the stuff they currently have on hand. Inventory changes pretty regularly but this should give you a sense for the overall feel of the place.

Love the curvy lines on this little chest. It would look great between 2 twin beds in a girls shared bedroom as a nightstand.
Some great Anthro-esque hooks (good price on these too...better than Anthro).
Love these vintage anatomy charts!
And these were vintage seed packets that had been blown up and framed. Way overpriced but for those of us who suffer from "I can do that cheaper-itis", get yourself some of these, blow them up with some color photocopies and you're on your way.
These vintage seltzer bottles were the biggest I've ever seen (over 1.5' tall) and were $375. I imagine they're hard to find in this size.
Interesting collection of vintage scales.
Vintage wine bottle rack.
They had several of these enormous fleur de lis lamps.
A view of the outside wares. Seriously if you are in need of some ceramic planters, this is the place to go. I've never seen such a variety of shapes, colors and sizes.
Aisles and aisles of outdoor metal planters and sconces.
Maybe an enormous flamingo is more your thing.
I LOOOOOVE this teak bench. I want to paint it a high gloss turquoise, cut the legs off of it and hang it like a porch swing. Except it's $900 so I won't be doing any of that.
A great array of faux bois furniture and planters too. My favorite was this cute garden bench. This thing must weigh 800 lbs.
As is usually the case, I came home with nothing but a list of stuff to search for on eBay. And that's just fine by me!
