Little Green Notebook's Kilm Rug

I am a huge fan of Jenny at Little Green Notebook. I love to start my day with a visit to her blog for some eye candy and inspiration. This post started my obsession with her blog and was sent to me by Nicole when we were just getting started with my home office re-design and looking for inspiration. I spent the next 2 days pretty much devouring every single post on Little Green Notebook but I have definitely gone back to this office post time and time again. I love the mix of DIY, thrifting and old with new. I'm also totally obsessed with that red credenza and have been stalking Craig's List for something like it for a while.

{SIDE NOTE: Right around this time, Nicole and I actually made a Raleigh Flea Market trip and saw an INCREDIBLE red credenza with big, fat brass knobs on it. It was $300, worth every penny and I didn't get it. And it will haunt me every day for the rest of my life. Nicole took a picture of it. She's smart. Maybe she will dig it up so I can share it and reminisce.}

But this post is not actually about the red credenza but rather that fab tribal rug in the room. I don't know about you, but when I see a space like this I immediately start to obsess on all the different elements and where each piece is from. As is often the case with rooms I like, inevitably the source list says things like "Credenza: Got it from a man on the street for $2" (which is awesome but I'm never going to find that man with another credenza) or "Rug: Have had it forever, since discontinued". You get the idea.

Today as I was cruising thru Overstock looking for possible rug options for my brother's new apartment, I spotted something strangely familiar.

Same rug! I have no use for it but hopefully someone out there does.
