So you know the giant abacus we have hanging over Knox's changing table? I absolutely adore the way it looks on this wall. For many months I was the only one getting a kick out of it, but it has recently become Knox's favorite thing to play with after a diaper change. I hold him while he stands up and slides the little beads, squealing every time they clink against one another.
It was definitely a bit of a splurge at $150 + shipping. {Aside: seriously CB2 if you're going to insist on having only 3 locations on the whole east coast, can you at least throw us a bone with a free shipping code once in a while?????} I remember before hitting the "submit" button on my order that something like this could probably be DIY'd quite easily. But at the time I was 5 months pregnant and up to my eyeballs in DIY projects and another one would have sent me straight to the loony bin.
