I told you my list of things I stalk on Craig's List is ever evolving right? Well I have a new addition to the list - a vintage channel back arm chair as seen in the latest episode of Sarah 101. Super cute nursery and little girl's room on this episode by the way. Check out more images of both rooms here.
But let's focus shall we? I am hypnotized by the awesomeness that is that channel back chair upholstered in stripes on the horizontal.
In my experience of Craig's List stalking, the problem with finding items like this is that anyone who knows enough to call their chairs "channel back" is usually a bit design savvy, as in they are overcharging for their chairs (in my opinion). Case in point - this pair on the Raleigh Craig's List for $600. Um...how 'bout no. They are perfect though, grrr!!
To avoid that, I am left searching for just "chair" and spending my life weeding through pages and pages of terrible stuff in the hopes that one day I will stumble upon the channel back of my dreams. It's possible...it will just take time. Luckily I have lots of Craig's List endurance.
The source list for this episode says the fabric used on that fun chair came from Designer Fabrics Online. I can't seem to find the exact pattern used but this one is close (but it's quilted so I know it's not the right one.)
