The Green Chair Project provides furnishings and home accessories to needy families in the Wake County area. Most of these people are coming from very difficult situations, like homelessness, abusive relationships or rebuilding after natural disasters.  The Green Chair Project empowers the recipients to begin a successful transition to self-sufficiency, with dignity, as they furnish their home and create nurturing environments for themselves and their families.

The best part about The Green Chair Project - the furniture they have available for these families is really beautiful stuff in GREAT condition, usually donated by area families who are moving, purging or downsizing. Their showroom is nearly identical to a regular furniture store.

Come out and show your support for this wonderful charity by doing what you do best - SHOPPING!

The Green Chair Project is having a moving sale on Friday and Saturday, 10/7 & 10/8 from 10 am- 5 pm. If you're in the Raleigh area, you don't want to miss this event.
