Yup, they're officially here! The Christmas Markets! Finally! Here in Vienna, there are a lot of them, and I think it's really nice when you get to visit so many different ones, and not stick to only to one. I'm saying this because I used to go only to the main one which is in front of the Rathaus. But this year, along with a friend of mine, I decided to change this odd "tradition" and get to know so many others.
So, this past Sunday we've visited a really pretty one which is stationed in the street called am Spittelberg. It's a small little market, and I think it's so beautiful! It has that perfect Christmas feeling, surrounded by old Vienna buildings which form a little street, and it's so comfy in a way. :) Really really nice. And it's also not comparable to the main one - simply because there are way less people, and it seems so much more familiar. It almost feels like being in a Disney fairytale. I enjoyed the visit to the fullest, and for everyone who's coming to Vienna for Christmas, you have to see it too!
