Blue Trees

As Konstantin Dimopoulos says, trees are the lungs of the planet. But as they are largely invisible in our daily lives, this Australian artist painted their trunks blue (with environmentally safe paint) to make a strong statement and raise awareness about forests being destroyed each year. I'm the first one to admit that on occasion I get way too preoccupied with everyday stuff, and I simply don't notice the beauty that is around us, especially now, during the blooming season. Aren't they beautiful? xo
