The Tiny Bug Lover's Nursery

Spring has sprung and with it comes the arrival of many creepy crawly creatures!  While bugs may not seem like the most baby-appropriate theme for a nursery, I think there is beauty and inspiration to be taken in almost everything nature creates...yes even bugs!

For this room, I choose to focus on the colors and textures of nature itself - vibrant mossy greens, earthy tans and natural wood tones.  A little bright orange gets thrown in to keep the whole thing playful.

Some of my favorite items in this board include the mason jar chandelier (doesn't it just reminded you of  summer nights and chasing lightening bugs?), these wood bumble bee models that I'd hang from the ceiling for a creative mobile and this soft stone pouf (everyone knows the best bugs live under big rocks!)
