The signature multi-colored chevrons are slated to hit Target stores on September 13th and will include everything from clothing and bedsheets to dinnerware (and a bike?!)

Calypso St. Barth's Launch at Target

Yesterday was the the launch of the Calypso St. Barth's collection at Target. Did you remember? I posted a reminder about it over on my Facebook page and then headed to Target.com to check things out for myself.

I was a tad disappointed in the Home collection. At least the online selection was pretty small and, as I suspected, the gold and silver poufs were the first to sell out (gone by 3 pm EST online). Did anyone get their hands on one? I'm dying to hear some first hand accounts of the quality at this $60 price!


It looks like some stuff is being released in phases on the website. For example, none of the pillows were available yesterday but maybe will be in the future?



A lot of the tunics and dresses they originally showcased were nowhere to be found either. I still managed to snag 2 shirts.

Imperial Trellis goes outdoors

Just in time for naps on the porch season, outdoor pillows in the pattern we all love to hate (or love to love depending on who you are).


They only seem to have this green/brown combo online but I saw a hot navy & white combo at my local Target so be sure to check there if you prefer that color. $19 for two pillows. I love you Target!

Calypso St. Barth's coming to Target

Am I the last person on Earth to hear about this? Target's next designer collaboration is with Calypso St. Barth. It is scheduled to debut in stores and online on May 1st, just in time for summer. I LOVE the boho-chic, resort vibe that Calypso has going on but I DO NOT love the price tags which are often in the triple digits.

So how will this high end line be translated for Target? Previews of the collection reveal it will include everything from women's clothing, baby clothes (likely girls only), beach totes and metallic Moroccan poufs (happiness!) to canvas-wedge espadrilles. Expect to see lots of wrap dresses, peasant tops, and shorts in the signature Calypso style - beaded and embroidered details as well as grosgrain-piping (mmm...love me some grosgrain piping on a throw pillow!) Most pieces will be offered in an array of summer whites, bold pinks and reds, and shades of blue.

Best of all, prices are in the very wallet-friendly range of $1.99 and $79.99. The collection will only be available thru June 11th, but I'm betting like designer collaboration before this one, lots of stuff will sell out right away so mark those calendars!
