How powerful are those photos? Two brilliant photographers, François Vaxelaire & Eliane Beeson wanted to make a tribute to the Congo’s Carrier Women and share their story with the world. They took hundreds of portraits of them while they were carring their load that is as heavy as 1-2 tonnes on average. Incredible! I find those images truly striking, powerful and sad.
