Underwater Art Museum

There are many beautiful projects around the world that make my heart beat faster but as soon as I saw this underwater art museum created by a British artist Jason deCaires Taylor my jaw dropped. His aim was to encourage coral growth, demonstrate the interaction between art and environmental science forms and provide a habitat for marine life by creating artificial reefs using specialized materials in his sculptures that promote coral life. The project consists of over 403 life-size sculptures created from moulds taken from actual people and is one of the largest and most ambitious underwater artificial art attractions in the world. Brilliant!

Darlings, wouldn't it be incredible to spend an afternoon diving there? It has to look even more spectacular in person. Have you been there before? Would you like to? xo

P.S: The full photo-gallery and a beautiful video of the project.

(Thanks, Josie)
