A Soldier's Story

Heartbreaking! Lalage Snow interviewed and photographed the soldiers of the 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland. The 3 photos represent 3 different points in time: before they were sent to Afghanistan, three months into their service, and a few days after they returned home. Their faces in those images above truly reflect the incredibly saddening toll of fighting at war.
