Baseball Tee: Thumbs up or down?

When was the last time you wore a baseball tee? Since Emerson Fry came out with her newest collection I got hooked  on it. The simplicity of it totally appeals to me and paired up with sassy shorts, comfy jeans or messy hair makes for a super casual, relaxed spring look. Darlings, what do you think: thumbs up or down? xo

P.S: Other sporty trend: baseball caps.

Rock 'n' Roll Edge

Leather jackets seem to be extremely popular this spring, especially paired up with flowy long dresses or super cute colour jeans. I thoroughly adore the look and love how it transforms an outfit and adds a cool rock-and-rolledge to it, but sadly, I just can't pull it off. So for now, I’ll be swooning over those snazzy ladies above who seem to be rocking it to perfection!

Lovelies, do you own a leather jacket? Would you like to? What would you wear it with? xo

P.S: Also, those open-back beauties and the ever sassy polka dots!

Style Tweaks: Rolled-up Pants

A while ago someone gave me a great advice that totally helped me find my personal style: it’s not about how much you spend on the item, it’s more about how you make it yours. I’m the type of person who has to feel 100% comfy in the clothes I wear, otherwise I feel utterly miserable all day long. (You?) So, my thing is to keep it simple but add little twists here and there. One of them is the rolled up pants. I roll them up all the time! There is something rather adorable about showing your ankles and I love the relaxed feel of the look. The best part - they go with any type of shoes, from flats, sandals, loafers, wedges to even heels.

Lovelies, what's your little style tweak? Do you roll up your pants too? Are you a fan of the look or not so much? xo

P.S: Tomboy style and the snazzy shirt factor!

Fresh Take On Spring Makeup

Must be the spring in the air because recently I find myself craving new makeup tricks (but as you all know by now I am totally hopeless in that department). Nothing drastic or unexpected, just want to perfect that fresh natural summer look - exactly the one Chelsa is wearing in that photo. For me, there is nothing sexier than healthy/glowing skin, rosy cheeks, bit of lipstick and long foxy lashes. I fell in love with that lipstick colour so much that I even got one for myself this morning - it's in satin light rosewood shade (different from my usual red but perfect with flowy dresses for summer days).

Lovelies, doesn’t she look beautiful? Do you use makeup daily or like me just a bit of lipstick or a blush? What’s your morning makeup routine? Any tips you’d like to share? xo

P.S: If you fancy trying this look here is what you need!
P.P.S: Also, here are a few tricks to avoid lipstick faux pas.

Ripped Jeans: Thumbs up or down?

Do you wear ripped jeans? I do, but I never actually bought a pre-ripped pair. I have a thing for well tailored pants. They simply don’t come around too often so when I actually find a pair that fits like a glove, I keep it for as long as I can. Both of my ripped denims got worn-in over the years to the point where they got a bit torn around the knees. I love them that way and they look cute rolled up with boat neck teesflats and rosy cheeks.

Lovelies, how do you feel about ripped jeans? Do you wear them? What do you pair them up with? xo

Paisley Print For Summer

The other day, I mentioned to my friend, Sofia that I fancy getting frisky with the paisley print this summer. I’m thinking about getting a cute loose top so I can wear it with shorts and sandals or a pair of rolled-up pants. I got hooked on it after I noticed girls all over the city sporting this super feminine trend. How about you, loves? Would you wear a paisley print dress or a skirt or maybe even a scarf or a blouse? Do tell! xo

P.S: Other sassy patterns: florals, stripes, dots and the snazzy animal prints.

When I grow up...

...I want to have Jane Birkin's sense of style, embody the undeniably tomboyish, yet super sassy 70's vibe and master the French-y fringe down to the T. Once I read that we all can wear a simple tee and jeans but only a few can really rock the look or even pull off carrying a wicker basket instead of a bag. J'adore! The best part: her style is so timeless and effortless, just looking at those photos makes me think that they could've been taken yesterday.

Loves, whose style do you adore? It can be someone famous or a friend, next door neighbour or even your mom. Do tell! xo

"My mother was right: When you've got nothing left, all you can do is get into silk underwear and start reading Proust." - Jane Birkin

P.S: Lizzie, put together the ultimate tomboyish Jane's look that I adore: the tee, the flare jeans and the legendary basket - swoon.
P.P.S: Also, another of Jane's outfits that I love.

Girl Crush Parisian Style

I bet you've seen Madewell's spring collection already, right? Well, as much as I'm smitten with the whole thing, I simply can't get enough of this cutie and her outfit. The look is not only effortless but it also oozes femininity on all levels. The dress, the rolled up sleeves, the pointy flats -  oh la la, my idea of spring perfection (right out of Paris). J'adore!

Lovelies, would you wear it? Doesn't she look pretty? xo

P.S: You can shop the whole outfit here.

Pop Coloured Eyelids: Thumbs up or down?

I'm terrible when it comes to applying eye makeup and probably that is why I stick to my good friend, the red lipstick most of the time. Having said that, I'm utterly intrigued with the new trend that is everywhere right now - the colour popped lids . It seems that ladies all around the globe are swapping their black eyeliner for this unexpected pop of bright eye-shadow onto their top lid.

I'm torn, but what do you think? Would you try this look? Have you already? What pop of colour would you go with? xo

P.S: If you fancy trying it, here is the how to.
P.P.S: Also, three snazzy ways to va va voom.
