Spring favorites!

Good morning friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful start into another week!

Well, I have actually never done this kind of things, but I thought it would be nice to present you my spring fashion favorites. Since recenty, I've fallen madly in love with ModCloth's vintage clothings. And you have to admit it, simply everything over there is simply amazing and breathtaking! Sometimes I truly wish I could be a billionaire, so I could buy all the stuff that my soul wishes for... Anyway, here's a lovely outift I've picked out, for a, let's say,  rainy spring day! :) I hope you will enjoy it!:)

Oh dear... I'm seriously crazy about that dress... It can be used for so many different occasions, and from, spring, over summer all the way to autumn... Love it!

And what are your favorite ModCloth things? I'd love to see them!

Happy Tuesday!

Love, Aleksandra.

Perfect camera bag.

Good morning folks!

Right now, I'm enjoying a vanilla late here at my favorite Starbucks, and have been browsing through the net and looking for some camera bags. I have found some nice girly ones through some awesome fashion blogs I follow, but I am not that into those typical bowling bags and stuff like that. I'm looking for something nice and vintage, and I can glady say that I FOUND IT! Look, look, looooook!

Dream bag, right? I almost fell off of the chair as I saw it. And as I saw the price. But, but, but, buuuuuut I think it totally pays of since you can clearly see that it's qualitative and that it can take pretty much. Ah, I love old school teacher bags... Do you think I should buy this for myself for Christmas? Should I? Are there any of you who are photographers, and what bags do you prefer?

Have a nice Wednesday! Sending you kisses from Vienna!

Love, Aleksandra.

PS: I forgot to say where I've found it... HERE!

Dream car.

Is anyone of you into cars? There are some people who use them only because it belongs to our daily necessities, and some even avoid them, but I would really love to know who of you ADORES them! Like I do!

I really love cars. It wasn't always like this, because there were also times when I didn't notice them at all, and haven't thought about them more deeply. But as years passed, I started to get more interested in them. Well, the thing is, I really love elegant cars, which means I am not such a fan of beasty sport ones. Nice, elegant, long limousine cars are something for me.

On the other hand, I've been always a big admirer of classics like the Beetle or Mini. And since those two would suit me more right now than a long dark green Jaguar, I thought I could look for something like that. Well, it's not that I can afford a Jaguar right now, and will not in the any near future. :)

Firstly, I was thinking of something like Nissan Micra or Peugeot 206, but then..! Oh dear, as I visited the VW web page, I saw that NEW Beetle 2012 has been released! Well, it's since October, but I'm always way too late at catching up with all the news.

And now... I'm officialy in love. Love, love, looove! Here is my future car. FOR SURE!

It's the Beetle 2012! I think I'll take it in red. Or chocolate brown. No, definitely red.
What do you think? What is your favorite car brand?

Have a nice Monday!

Love, Aleksandra.

Alice in Wonderland.

Finally Saturday! I hope everyone's having a wonderful day!

Today I just went to buy some Christmas decorations for out appartement, but I'll talk more about that in the following days. :) The rest of the day I spent home building some models for college and studying, and afterwards - some online shopping! Since the year is almost over, I thought I could look for some daily planers and notebooks, because I really write and note a lot. It's really fascinating, I have a ton of Moleskine notebooks lying around, and some also stored in various boxes. Sometimes I really feel like Ellis Grey (Grey's Anatomy fans surely know what I'm talking about)! But I think it's very important to write things down on paper, because that is the only way it can be stored for centuries. Surely it's very interesting when your grand-grand-grand-grand children can read what your feelings were when you met their grand-grand-grand-grand father for the very first time. I loved to experience that myself, and I'm simply keeping the tradition.
Anyway, this year, I didn't want to buy another Moleskine because I just need some color. They are very qualitative, and perfectly perfect, but now it's time for a little change. I've ordered more than one organizer, since you can add the date for yourself. Which means, I don't have to wait for January to begin with it, or I can keep it until 2017, and use it then. It's very flexible, so that is why I chose more than one. Here they are...

When I first saw these, I didn't even want to look for some other ones! I simply love the vintage Alice in Wonderland look, and simply said, it couldn't be any more perfect.

I think I'll be using the first one for now, but I still have to see when it all arrives. The last Paris one is only a plain notebook, but I thought I'd share it. :) Hope you like it! :) Oh, and if you want them too, just click here to get to the store on ebay! :)

See you soon!

Etsy Christmas goodies.

Christmas and all its winter magic is definitely my favorite time of the year. I think I've said that already once, but I cannot repeat it enough.

Well, the 24th isn't that far away anymore, and it's slowly time to get the perfect outfit for that magical night. Although "my" Christmas is on 6th of January (I'm an orthodox Christian), I will be celebrating the 24th with a few friends of mine. And we gotta look stunning!

I've been browsing all kinds of shopping sites, but in a way, I always end up on etsy. Anyway, here are some really pretty things I've found.

Honestly, I love them all! It is so hard to decide which one to buy, since they're all so beautiful! But I think I'll take the green or the white one with lace layer over it. But we'll see. I've also found bunch of other goodies...

Have a nice day!

Love, Aleksandra.

Shabby Home!

Ah, finally! I have been waiting for this for a very long time, and now it's finally here! The new Greengate Catalogue for the Winter 2011 Collection.
I'm a huge fan of nordic shabby style, and I enjoy it so much! My room is completely following it (I'll take some pictures of it soon, since it's not done completely yet), and there are so many things from Greengate which would perfectly suit it. I already have some little things, but I hope, I'll be able to get myself some of those dreamy blankets for the following cold winter days. Here are some favorites that I've sorted out:

It's so wonderful right? And here are some little previews from the collection:

If you want to see the whole catalogue, please click here. You won't be disappointed. :)

Have a nice evening! :)

Peaceful day.

Today has been a very calm day for me, since I had some time to relax and collect my thoughts.
The situation with Jessy is getting better, although he is still coughing, but it stops slowly, step by step. I'm just so glad that it isn't anything serious. I really tend to freak out when it comes to such situations, but I don't let it show. And Jessy is already twelve years old, and no matter how vital he is, everything can happen. Brrrrrrr, no, no, bad thoughts, go away! Enough. :)

I went to the one of the biggest shopping streets in Vienna, Mariahilferstrasse, just for a walk. I really enjoy just taking a walk through crowded streets, without actually buying anything. Well, this time it was pretty crowded since the Christmas time is coming closer, and people are already buying presents for they loved ones.

I went to one of my favorite bookstores, Thalia, and spent there more than 3 hours!

And as I couldn't get out with empty hands, here are some little things I bought:

Oh, and I was so happy for this little "Pickwick Papers" Edition! It's so classy and lovely! Although I have already about 4 different editions of it, I couldn't resist buying this one too! Love it!

I hope you all had a pleasant Wednesday! See you later! :)

Hammocks & High Tea

I'm currently obsessed with everything on Hammocks & High Tea's website.  Their specialty is eco-friendly textiles with a global perspective.  I love how fresh and modern everything is and #7 on this list - a reversible oyster metallic leather clutch with chevron lining - is so pretty I can't stop thinking about it!!

1.  Chevron drawer liners printed on 100% recycled paper using soy ink.  These might just be the perfect finishing touch to my campaign dresser

2.  Adana dopp kit

3.  Sumba pillow

4.  Namad pillow

5.  Linden coral pillow

6.  Adana pillow

7.  Chevron reversible clutch

New baby!

Good evening! I hope everyone had an awesome Saturday! :)
Today has been a very exciting and happy day for me, mainly because I finally got to add another very important member to my little camera family. I bought the Canon 60D camera body with an EF-S 17-85 IS USM lens. And I really love it. Ages passed by since I got to work with some serious cameras, and this is simply bliss now!

I'll post more photos of it tomorrow, AND of all other cameras that I bought last week because I simply got no time to do it before. There are some really really nice pieces. ^^

And now I'm leaving you with this wonderful song and wishing you a very good night! Sweet dreams! :)

Going etsy-crazy!

Good evening everyone!
Well, today has been a very stressful day, since my college is beginning on Monday, and I am now looking to get everything done before it officially starts, so right now, I'm pretty busy. But I like this kind of being busy and stuff.
Anyway, today I have been shopping again, and I purchased  two necklaces which I wanted to have for a very long time. They're very simple and beautiful, and I am really looking forward to owning them finally. What I am mostly fascinated about is the artwork that is included, because it makes the pendants really special and unique. I love it! If you are interested in them too, click here to go to the shop.

Always with me.

I have been looking for a good camera bag since I seriously started to think about making some "serious" work when it comes to photography. No matter if it's analog, digital or polaroid. And I've been looking, and looking, and looking, and I barely had any success. I wanted something with a very good quality, looking vintage and if possible it should be some leather. And now, what a surprise, I finally found it! It's little compact camera bag made out of hard leather, and I really have fallen in love with it since I saw it. I think the company's name is HIMORI, I tried to google it, but some other stuff came out, but I'll inform you on that when it arrives. So here it is how it looks like, oh, and remember, mine is the dark brown. Hope you like it!

I have to say, I'm really really excited for this to arrive, because I can't wait to have it finally! :) I also forgot to mention that it's an korean company, for you to know if you're badly interested in buying it too. Oh, I just also need to say that I bought it over ebay! :)

There are also two more things I got myself for traveling - passport holders

The first one is very simple and light, and I think I will use it for my short journeys to Serbia or Budapest because I don't have so much important stuff to drag around me then. It comes in two colors, soft pink and brown. Of course I chose the pink one. :)

And I also chose a bigger one, in case of traveling to some more far away places, and with longer staying period, so that everything can stay protected (passport, tickets, money, cards, etc). So I found this one very suitable:

You can find all this stuff on ebay... I am actually pretty worried that I discovered the advantages of the site, because how it looks like, my bank account is gonna suffer a little now. :P Well, I need all this stuff. :)

Have a nice Thursday everyone!

Aleksandra.
